ACDP provides facilities and opportunities to ensure that our staff are in possession of the knowledge, skills and expertise to perform their roles to the required standard. Trainee engineers are offered a structured job experience dovetailing with sponsored academic support that leads to membership of the appropriate professional institutions.

Through a yearly assessment process (Personal Development Interviews), ACDP has formalised a system to ensure that each individual is given the training they need at the time they need it. The company has regular programmes of training for all levels of staff, to grow and maintain skills as well as to keep up with current trends and developments within the industry.
Lessons learnt from projects, conferences and professional meetings are disseminated through in-house presentations, talks and site visits. Design reviews and in-depth workshops provide a forum for senior staff to provide valuable input to all design projects.

All staff are offered and encouraged to participate in Continued Professional Development (CPD).
ACDP also offers a number of summer placement positions for undergraduates, providing experience in the field of mechanical and electrical service design for buildings.
